Environmental regulations call for companies to provide Secondary Fuel Containment under fuel drums being used in or stored on remote sites. These regulations require the Berm units to hold the entire contents of the primary container plus an additional 10%. With many open Berm units in use today the main concern has been the collection of unwanted rain water, when this occurs it decreases the usefulness of the unit making it non-compliant with regulations. The "TERRA BERM" offers the perfect solution to this ongoing problem, by providing a light weight durable material cover that acts as an enclosure around the entire fuel drum and Berm unit.
 The "TERRA BERM" offers a worry free secondary fuel containment solution for your project during camp occupation but more importantly gives your company piece of mind knowing you are staying compliant during the "off season" by keeping out the unwanted build up of rain water in the Berm unit.
TERRA BERM
- Specially designed low temp chemical resistant Berm material provides protection against gasoline, diesel and jet fuel along with oils and acids
- Light weight steel collapsible Berm frame provides ridged support for cover and comes with pre-drilled holes in base plates for anchoring to sub-frame
- Light weight durable industrial material cover adds protection against rain, snow, and UV rays
- Both Berm material and cover are rated for temperatures ranging from (-45 C to -55C) making them ideal for Arctic applications
- Cover is equipped with a zippered front flap for easy access for refueling, main valve and Berm inspections
- Color coded material for type of fuel being contained, (yellow material for Diesel, Red material for Gasoline and Blue material for Jet Fuel)
- Each cover comes with the name of the fuel printed on the front flap
- Square steel constructed sub-frame designed for TERRA BERM support
- Engineered design allows frame to be picked up by Helicopter for fast and easy deployment to and from designated sites
- Frame primed and painted
- Base plates with pre-drilled holes offer stable footing for sub-frame
- Steel Helicopter pick up points welded onto frame
- 4 tie down points welded on frame for option of strapping down barrel stand to sub-frame
BARREL STAND
- Welded steel frame offers stability and strength when used with the "HELI-BERM" unit, (optional collapsible frame available upon request)
- Shaped cradle allows fuel drum to sit on stand without the worry of it falling off
- Designed to a specific height for proper fit of TERRA BERM cover
HELI-BERM (Is the combination of the TERRA BERM, BARREL STAND and the ENGINEERED SUB-FRAME together with the addition of the following)
